5 Week Catchers Class

During this 5 week catchers class, former Red Sox Minor League Catcher Alex McKeon will cover everything from proper stances, throwing mechanics, blocking and more. From beginner to experienced catchers, your athlete will learn about what it takes to be a successful catcher.
Had a stellar career at John Jay HS in East Fishkill where he was named All League, All County and All State including County Player of the Year in 2010. Played college baseball at Northeastern and also Texas A&M International where in 2014 and was named 1st team All Conference, All Defen-sive Team when he threw out 57% of runners while also being named team player of the year. Alex was drafted in 2014 in the 31st round by the Boston Red Sox and threw out 39% of runners in his rookie season. Alex is currently a baseball coach at Rye Country Day School.
Who: Catchers, Ages 8-13
When: Sundays 12:00 – 1:15PM
Dates: 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/23 Makeup dates: 2/16 and 3/1
Fee: $150 Non member. $135 Member. Make checks payable to All Star Inc.

Explosive Performance Training (EXP) enables young athletes to improve
strength, speed and quickness through customized, age-appropriate training.
Our experienced strength & conditioning trainers deliver one-on-one attention and
guidance dedicated to improving your child’s overall athletic performance.
Your athlete will be challenged and pushed to his/her limits at All Star’s EXP
training & conditioning room – a controlled, dedicated environment that is both safe
and comfortable for your child.
Who: All Athletes, Ages 8-13 (Boys and Girls)
When: Tuesdays 6-7 pm and Saturdays 11-12 pm
Class starts Tuesday January 21st
Where: EXP Training and Conditioning Room at All Star Batting
Fee: $120 for 5 classes $180 for 10 classes
